Mayo
Hello y'all!! It's that time of the year again. :) Don't you just love this month? I mean seriously! Flowers, new life, good vibes, beginnings. Those are just some of the words associated with the month of May. But it's more than that for me. It's my....okay drum rolls please....BIRTH MONTH! :) Yes, yours truly is turning 23 this month. You see, this month will always be special for me. While some people have admittedly stopped celebrating their birthdays on 20s, I will always always always always remember and celebrate my birthday.
I
really want to have my own dog. I will name it '_______'. Oh, I still haven't
thought of a name for it. I guess it's okay cuz' I still haven't gotten a dog
too. For my 23rd birthday, I want a best friend. Something I can hug when I'm feeling so stressed and something that will
reciprocate my love.. Something that will not hurt me. #Hugot. Only problem is
that getting a dog also means more responsibility. That's why I'm having second thoughts. With
everything that's going on with my life and with everything that is about to
happen, I'm not so sure If I can deal with the extra burden. The dog itself is
cute and great to have...but I should also think about the obligations that
come with it. :) Anyway, buying a shi tzu is not on my budget for this month
so, I guess I'll only be able to have one when someone gives it to me for free.
Wahaha. Okay, accepting donations here. :)
2. Visit Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur
(Source: pepesamson.blogspot.com)
Now,
there is only 20% chance that this will happen. I'm saving for my tuition fee
next sem because as you know….or not, I will be transferring to another school
next sem. Tuition Fee there is double the TF in my previous school so I really
need to save a lot of money. Since I get to travel in two great places this
month for FREE (Thank you Lord, I guess he scheduled Company outings this month
so I wouldn't get to spend for my birthday), I gave this trip minimum priority.
Technically, it's not a priority at all because this is also NOT included in my
budget anymore. #Sobs. There's 20% chance though that I will be able to have
this travel PROVIDED that for some
miraculous reasons, I will be able to get my referral incentive early and by
early, I mean on the 15th. No offense but based on my previous experience, our
HR is sooo slow in processing this kinds of things that it takes nearly 3
months before an employee gets his/her
incentive. Ohhhh fudge. Anyway, I'll sure do my part and follow-up. Who knows.
God moves in mysterious ways. He might get me to Ilocos on my precious day.

3. Change My Ways
(Painting by: Winston Chmielinski)
I
really want to re-create myself. Since I'm going to start a new life in another
school, I want to be whole, compact, prepared and great when the semester
begins. That's why I'm saying goodbye to my old habits and I'm saying hello to
the "new and improved" me. It's not like I suddenly wanna be a new
person...it's just that I have come to the realization that the old me is self-destructive. I'm killing myself
slowly with all the habits and mindset that I have. If I don't change, I'll
surely be dead in no time. The real me doesn't like that. The real me wants a
healthy, career-oriented, positive, hopeful and successful life. That's why I
decided to change my ways as a gift to myself. This month, I am going to jump
start my transformation. No more smoking, no more whining, no more negative
thoughts, no more disrespect, no more carelessness, no more indecisiveness, no
more craziness. Well okay, let's cross out "craziness" on the list
cuz' that's just the way I am wahahaha and I like being crazy. Cheers to being
crazy! Another thing, I need to be consistent. Consistency is the key to
change. Please pray for me and pray that I find
sense in what I'm about to do. :) This will be a perfect gift to myself.
I'm not expecting a
lot on my birthday. Honestly, If I get #3, I'll be the happiest 23 year-old
woman. Hokeyyy! That's about all for tonight.
XoXo
