Changes, changes, changes!!!
Hello!
Today, I did the following:
1. Deactivated my Facebook account.
2. Messaged my long-time friends.
3. Started reading 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
4. Downloaded Skype in my pc.
5. Made a new RJ appointment for a demo lesson
6. Started paradigm shifting
7. Watched The Devil Wears Prada
Okay, so the things I mentioned are major important tasks to me which I keep on delaying. Yes dear friends, since my black out, I recovered a bit but I keep on delaying important stuff in my life. Now, I'm soooo ready to make solid changes.
So starting off, I deactivated my FB account. I am so over scrolling up and down and seeing so many things on my wall, all of which distracts me and leads me away from my ultimate goal of becoming a lawyer. It's taking up too much of my time. Good thing is that even if I deactivated my fb account, I can still continue using FB messenger so I still have contact over my fb friends. So happy to hear about this. I won't be isolated that much to the entire world wahaha.
Then, I messaged my long-time friends. Well, during my hiatus, I actually double-crossed some friends which are very dear to me and I am not proud of my previous acts. I know I'm not a bad person but still, I did things which are bad to them. Messaged them, asked for forgiveness and promised to make amends with them. Hopefully, I will still be able to be friends with them in the future. I really do hope so. I miss them so much.
I also started reading 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. This book....will immensely help me. This will become my tool to a better me and will help me insure my success in the future. No doubt about it. Started reading it again but I didn't have much time so everyday, I will alot some time to read every chapter. I will be incorporating the learnings I will have in my everyday life to achieve my long-term and short-term goals.
After 1000th tries, I was finally able to download Skype. In relation to this, I also made a new RJ appointment for a demo lesson. I've been trying to download Skype for a few weeks now but I was not able to because of some system problems. So tonight, I thought of a solution and that is to download an older version of the application. Hurray!! I was able to download it!!! Yep, and I also scheduled a demo appointment which will mark the start of my RJ tutor career again. Hahaha. I really need additional finances especially that I will be needing to enroll to review schools so being a part-time tutor, I guess, will help me with that.
Started paradigm shifting. Thinking differently and seeing things in a whole new different level. Yep. Starting to do that.
Watched 'The Devil Wears Prada'. Okaaaaaay. I cried a lot after watching this movie. Soooo, it's about having a monster boss and I really couldn't relate to that because luckily, my bosses and previous bosses are very nice. However, I felt connected with the movie in the sense that the heroine is a struggling girl and is doing anything to be able to reach her goals and her ultimate dream. She made so many sacrifices and endured a lotta pain. Ugggh. Saw myself in her. Saw the struggling girl inside me in her.
Oh well, I also need to do so many important and life-changing tasks tomorrow. Till next time then, babes!!
XoXo
